Annual Sport’s Day Celebration

Every year on the 12th of January, a vibrant celebration of sports takes place, bringing together students, parents, and a spirit of healthy competition. The onset of this much-anticipated sports day is announced by the Sub Divisonal Officer (SDO) of Ranghat, who is graciously invited by the school for this special occasion. Participants engage in different events, vying for the coveted prizes that await the winners. As the day progresses, house champions and runners-up are determined, adding an element of friendly rivalry. Beyond the students’ enthusiasm, the involvement of parents adds another dimension to the event, creating a sense of community and shared joy. The festivities continue with captivating displays, from dynamic pyramids showcasing strength and coordination to an energetic physical education display that demonstrates the students’ prowess in various activities. The martial arts enthusiasts among the students also take center stage with a thrilling karate display, adding a dynamic and skillful element to the celebration. With such a grand array of events, including march pasts, guard of honours, and displays, it’s no wonder that sports day becomes an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
